10-9-25:  This is new starter codeplug for the Anytone D168UV, using CPS/FW 1.07.

It was created from scratch and is operational and tested, except for the default Couger VHF pair.  There are likely errors or typos, so if you find something, or you have comments, please send them to 168@pnwdigital.net

It is HIGHLY recommended that if you wish to roll your own codeplug, that you use this starter codeplug and modify it's contents, deleting as much as you wish, but leave the radio wide setting as is, unless you are very familiar with the Anytones and the PNWDigital network.

Most importantly, the radio-wide settings are set for the PNWDigital network  The defaults or wrong and most in users, who elect to create their codeplug from scratch, generally miss getting them correct.

Talker Alias is disabled, roaming and radio check does not work correctly on PNWDigital.  Group call Hang Timer is set for 1 second as are all our repeaters.  Do not change these settings.

It is skeleton started with just bare samples of TG's, Channels, Zones and Scan list.  But is does have samples of analong programming as well as APRS-Digital in fixed mode.

The display colorsm the key or button assignments and the alert tones are just samples and you likely will want to change those in time.

This plug is likely to be updated soon.  This was a quick effort to publish as many new 168's are coming online due to the $45 or $90 each sales of late.

It is likely that an ACB version for the 168 will appear, "soon'ish".

I will to acknowledge Kirk, KN6UMV for the 168 price discovery and his effort in decoding the differences in codeplug internals and much testing. Very detailed instruction will be provided.            --
