On Thursday 07/28/2022, we will discontinue supporting the legacy password. Now is the time to update.
If you have not received an email, read the form, follow the steps, and make the request at https://pnwdigital.net/services/mmdvm.php

Helpful details to include in your email:
What is your Name?
What is your Callsign?
What is your DMR ID?
What type of device do you have?
Is your device simplex or duplex?
Which is your preferred MMDVM server?
Have you changed your username or password on the device (yes/no)?
Do you know the IP address of your hotspot (yes/no)?
Are you able to load your hotspot’s dashboard in your web browser (yes/no)?
What remote support software do you prefer (Zoom, Teamviewer, etc)?
Any helpful details, history, or what you’ve tried?
Please do not include any links or passwords

We are currently at 63.8% of active users, 106/166. 66% was my original guess/goal, so I think by Thursday, we will be close to that.

If you have a device other than Pi-Star or Openspot, or you’ve setup something with DMRGateway, you will need to work through the password change process. Basically, look for where the old password is, and replace it with the new password. The old password was a variant of the word “password”. The new password is 8 numbers and/or lowercase alpha characters, something like “a1b2c3d4”. Carefully edit the file or change the password. It sometimes helps to change to a different server, apply changes, then back to your preferred server, and reapply changes, to get the device to see the change.
