DMR Repeater to be at SEA-PAC and on the PNWDigital Network
This repeater is sponsored by The I-84 Group with the effort provided by Joel, N7LF. The I-84 group currently has 11 DMR repeaters deployed in Oregon, primarily along the I-84 travel corridor. Several more are planned in 2023 with an effort to move into Idaho on the horizon. Covid-19 impacted the speed of those deployments but this year should get new repeaters back on track.
The repeater is planned to be on air/on network Thursday afternoon through Monday AM. The Portland Metro group will be plumbed into this repeater’s Metro 2 talkgroup.
The repeater will be using the Mt Hood pair and color code. So just dial-up your Mt Hood zone and use it for Sea-Pac event. The “Live” TG List is available or use the static listing below.

There should be decent street level coverage from the Off-site location: Campground at ~46-00-13.5 | 123-54-12.4 20′ AGL. Likely marginal HT belt worn coverage inside the building Thursday until Friday at 0700.
On site: when the repeater is parked at the CC parking lot inside coverage is 100%. The plan is to be parked at the CC at least 12 hours a day on Friday and Saturday starting at 0700. Sunday 0800-1200 noon.
For on-site user convenience, we suggest creating a new zone in your radio and create the repeater’s channels for the talkgroups of interest, adding the following to this same zone so that switching around is as simple as spinning the channel selector without any need to zone or menu around.
