How to create your account.

If you wish to be able to post here as well as read more of the topics, then you should create an account.

All accounts must have the login (account name) as your call sign.

Best use of the "Display Name" field: is to put your "Name and Call Sign" (e.g. John - WA7ABC) .  Also you may add your location (eg. John - WA7ABC - Seattle WA)

You can list or search for our Members also.

Please use this URL to create an account: https://pnwdigital.net/register/

With users having a hard time understanding PNWD's requirements on Groups.io... It would be nice if we can figure out a way to change the registration boxes from "First Name" to "Callsign" and "Last Name" to "First Name". This way, as long as folks can read, they should be following what the requirement is.

One would think it's easy enough to change, as long as we figure out where that is, and if it's one of the "customize" options, or if it would be a further customization, past the ones offered so far.

Or.. Their username can be their callsign, too. The username shows under the first name / last name fields in the forum.

@kc7aad Absolutely username, account, login, whatever it is called should be lower case call sign.

The first last would be great to change to call or call sign and last to first.

I found that those two changes made it easier to see the call and first name in summaries and recaps...otherwise it was first last and we don't know folks generally by first and last.

Michael might be able to figure that in in the plugin.

I think I have the entry notice done correctly...as best I can.  I made that first post a sticky so it should always be the very first topic when entering the forum.

Michael,

@no7rf

This is an interesting setup.

A bit excited to see how it grows and evolves.

We have alot of time in the site so far and it sports more than just the web, sorta a combo of both IO Groups and a plain website, with a calendar and maybe the most interesting part, the web pages themselves can have comments, at least most can.

KI4YO Scott North Bend.

New guy to DMR. BTECH 6x2, learning how to create codeplug. I’ll try to see if I can figure out how to use your Anytone codeplug. Lots of reading material to sift through. Then do some listening. Looks like you people got a great resource here.

Thanks

@ki4yo Welcome Scott!

I too have the Btech 6X2 and LOVE it!

You say you're trying to see if you can figure out how to use "your" Anytone codeplug?

To whom is "your" referring to? If you mean one of the posted ones, you do know that your 6X2 CPS will open the Anytone codeplugs just fine, right?  As long as the plug is NOT one for the newest version of the 878 you should be fine.  They are close but have some rather interesting ways to do things as I learned not to long ago myself the hard way.  Plugs can go from Anytone to Btech rather nicely but, taking a Btech plug to an Anytone is quite a chore.  LOL

I haven't looked in the files after the change over to this new site but, there used to be an old 6X2 plug or two available in the .io group if you look there.

There are a few of others in the network here that also have 6X2's so, you're by no means on your own if you get to confused.
